A walk along the beach at Cneep on Lewis was the inspiration for this one. I simply wanted to capture the beautiful silver, blue grasses that grow along the top of the beach. I love listening to the gentle rustle as the wind whistles through them.
Plus it allows me to work with texture , something I love doing . I have little control as the paint catches on the scrim. It creates beautiful patterns and rich light and darks .
When this one come home to you its a joy to gently run your fingers across the grass sandpit yourself back on the beaches.
